At St. Marychurch School we believe that residential trips can give children a chance to push themselves out of their comfort zones and allow them to learn new skills while spending time with friends and trusted adults.
Children will have residential opportunities in Year 4 and Year 6 and can range from 2 to 4 night stays. Over the past few years we have had very enjoyable stays at Warren Barn in Cockington (part of Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust) and at Skern Lodge in North Devon. Children have been able to take part in a range of activites such as den building, fire craft, pizza making, rafting, tunnelling, abseiling, wall climbing and archery to name but a few!
